Handpainted panels on stretchy cotton interlock splashed with hearts and stars, patchworked with mauve rayon satin, rose pink cotton jersey, matte silver textured sandwashed rayon into a caftan of happiness, a gown that’s a sensual pleasure to wear. We use both matte and shiny sides of the lightweight rayon satin.

All the fabrics are our usual high quality, designer fabrics, from my collection. The handpainted pieces recall the joy and freedom I felt as a young person living in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood back in the early ’70’s: Peace and love, cosmic consciousness, music and dance, theatre, women’s liberation and the feeling that we could change the world with love. It was an exciting time I’m so happy to have experienced.

This Caftan is our size 30/32 and measures: Bust 72″, Hips 83″, Length: 50″.
LENGTH is measured from crest of shoulder down over apex of breast to hem.

All of our garments are easy to alter as they are created from simple styles developed over my 30 year career as a plus size couturier, working directly with clients of all shapes and sizes. Perfect for all figure types.
