Richly embellished yet lightweight and easy to wear, this sumptuous Gabi Jacket is gorgeous over black velvet for a holiday dressy special occasion. Shown here over our black lycra velvet Slip Dress for a unique mother of the bride ensemble, it’s also a natural over a silk top and black stretch velvet pants.

The front is a joyous floral tiny sequin embroidered mesh, backed by Jeanne Marc Gold Dots Black Satin. Sleeves are of that same Jeanne Marc Gold Dots fabric, while the back of the jacket is a Jeanne Marc Gold and Black Abstract Floral, a matte satin.

This Gabi is unlined to keep it lightweight and supple, wearable in warm or cooler weather, especially over a sleeveless top. The sequin mesh front has the dots satin backing, but the back and sleeves of the jacket are one layer of fabric. Gold satin bias binds all the edges of the jacket, giving it just enough weight to hang beautifully and creating the perfect visual border for all that excitement.

It’s Ready-to-Wear in our Sizes M (22/24) and L (26/28). Let us send you one to try on; return within two weeks if you don’t adore it. We pay US Priority Mail shipping you, and if you return the jacket for refund, only that amount will be deducted from your refund. Let us work with you up front to be sure you’ll get the right size. This garment was designed to be very easy to alter.

Consult with me: Send your height, bust, waist and hip measurements and I’ll let you know which size will work best for you. This jacket is easy to alter down a size to our S (18/20) and a simple gusset under the arms can provide extra room in the bust area if you’re just larger than our L (26/28).

Pricing is for the jacket only, but we’ll custom-make you a simple dress, top and pants or skirt, to your measurements. The Slip Dress style is shown here, but you might prefer a Tee Dress, Tank Dress, separates, etc.
